Crossing into Montenegro

Hani i Hotit (45 min from Shkodra) is the fastest crossing. The green-card insurance extension is required and runs about €10/week.

Downtown traffic

The Kolë Idromeno pedestrian street is closed to cars. Park at “Sheshi 5 Heronjtë” (~€0.50/hour) and walk in.

Toward Theth: SH22

The road to Theth starts in Shkodra. 80 km, 2.5 hours. A small SUV or 4x4 is recommended in shoulder season.
